The RATP Paris Montrouge bus center employs more than 1,000 drivers working highly varied shifts. The transport service operates 24 hours a day, requiring special logistical arrangements.
RATP challenges
The Paris Montrouge bus center parking lot has 50 car spaces, 10 motorcycle spaces and only 100 access badges for 1,000 drivers. The Zenpark team was faced with many challenges.
- A complex parking lot to manage. Due to the shortage of parking spaces and the inability to efficiently allocate them according to priority needs, managing the parking lot caused daily stress for managers and staff alike.
- Safety issues. A badge-based access system doesn’t provide sufficient security for a company parking lot: means of access can be lost, a badge can be shared between several employees, and parking space allocation cannot be identified.
- A financial and human cost. With little automated management and no way of tracking actual parking lot use with a conventional access system, parking lots can quickly become costly and time-consuming for parking lot managers.

In addition to the parking spaces available in the bus center parking lot, Zenpark has used the Zenpark Pro Pool solution to increase the capacity of parking spaces reserved for employees in Zenpark network parking lots located near the bus center. Drivers can access it directly via their Zenpark user account. Pool allows you to:
- Offer more parking spaces by increasing the capacity of car parking spaces available to employees by nearly 60%.
- Pool spaces within the same booking application. RATP employees can easily access these parking spaces via the Zenpark application.
