About Nexity
French leader in real estate development and services, Nexity has built up a dense network of real estate agencies and specialized sales outlets throughout France over the years. At its Lyon Vaise regional headquarters, Nexity has a 243-space parking lot with 7 charging stations for 521 employees.
Challenges
Following a company move, the Nexity Lyon Vaise regional headquarters needed a solution to ensure that its employees had a parking space at their place of work. The Zenpark team was faced with many challenges.
- Collaborative parking: a necessity. With 243 parking spaces available for some 521 Nexity employees, i.e. 0.4 spaces per employee, the implementation of a digital parking solution was a necessity in order to guarantee the availability of a parking space for employees while promoting parking space rotation.
- Supporting change in mobility. Live monitoring of parking lot use has enabled the company to adapt its employees’ telecommuting practices to avoid peaks in use. In fact, Nexity’s regional head office decided to simultaneously roll out the Flex solution with the introduction of two days of non-billable remote work per week, with the aim of relieving congestion in the company parking lot.
Thanks to Zenpark Pro Flex
- With its Zenpark Pro Flex offer, Zenpark optimizes the use of each parking space in company parking lots. Employees reserve their space in advance and access the parking lot using their mobile app, a pass or a personal keypad code.
- Nexity employees have been trained on how to use the Flex solution. This is a crucial stage in taking delivery of the tool and in the overall implementation of the mobility plan.
- The site manager has an online interface that enables them to anticipate busy periods, ensure that reservations are honored and, if necessary, open access to the parking lot remotely. They also have access to the parking lot’s real-time occupancy data for a selected time period. The company can also establish allocation priority rules according to its internal mobility plan. In terms of hardware, Flex is compatible with all conventional access systems, and requires no modification of existing equipment.
